Print Aqua
document icon.
After you complete all documentation on the template, select
Save & Close
to exit the template or choose another therapy template from the left-hand list.

Enter Exercises
Select the Item field of the grid to enter an exercise. Select the Reps, Sets, and Resistance as appropriate. If the exercise was or should be performed in Shallow or Deep water, select the option to indicate that. If you are performing the treatment or exercise today, make sure that the D field has a checkmark. If the exercise is to be performed in a group, select the Grp group therapy checkbox. Selecting the Grp checkbox makes the billing code a group therapy code. If any exercises are done in group, you are prompted to document the total group time and the number of participants in the group. To indicate the treatment was or should be performed only on one side of the body, select a side under S. Select Add. The exercise is added to the grid. Parent topic: Aquatherapy Template

Enter Time and Comments for Aquatherapy
Enter any time that a therapist or assistant spent one-on-one with the patient in the Individual field. Enter time that a therapist spent with the patients in group therapy in the Group Time field and enter the size of the group in the Group Size field. If an assistant led the therapy for any portion of the time, indicate that in the Asst Time or Group Asst Time field, as applicable. Note: The checkbox near the Asst Time or Group Asst Time gets selected if the assistant time is more than the configured % of the total time. PT/OT Aquatherapy
This setting only applies to the fields on the Aquatherapy template. If this setting is Enabled, a picklist opens when you select the Item field to enter an exercise. If this setting is Disabled, the system defaults to allow you to enter text in the Item field. You can open the picklist by double-clicking in the field. Parent topic: PT/OT Aquatherapy and Goals

Document a Physical Exam
The Physical Exam panel includes a list of exam categories in the left pane. The categories in the left pane are customizable by specialty or by provider on the Framework Content system template. For more information on the Framework Content system template, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Framework Content System Template for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. When you select the Physical Exam History button, the Historical Information window opens. You can copy the previous physical exam records to the current encounter by using the Copy Physical Exam & Close button. Select the One Page Exam link from the left pane.The applicable exam template opens. Note: The resulting window is dependent on the specialty selected. Enter any pertinent exam details. Select Quick Save to save the documented findings as the default set for the next subsequent encounters.
