Specialty Configuration Home

You can use the specialty configuration homepage to open various configuration templates. The Specialty Config Home template helps you do the following: Open the configuration templates using the links in the Specialty System Sidebar. The links for each product are listed in their respective sections, and the Main section contains the links to templates that are common to all the currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. Read descriptions to understand the purpose of configuration templates. The templates and their descriptions for each product are provided in their respective sections, and the details in the Main section are applicable to the common templates of currently installed NextGen Healthcare products. Set Up the Opening of Chiro A/P Details Template

You can configure a setting that allows you to open the Chiro A/P Details template from the Plan Details grid in the Assessment/Plan panel on the NTS Chiro Single Visit template. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Under Show, select All. On the System tab, select Configuration Home, and then select OK. In the Configuration Navigation pane, select Framework Content. The Framework Content system template opens. Framework Content system template Select Orthopedics as the specialty and your practice as the practice. Expand the Assessment / Plan Navigation Configuration panel. In the Practice grid, select the row corresponding to the A/P Details tab. The corresponding details appear in the fields above the grid. In the Template Name field, select ainf_ch_ap_access_plan, and then select Update. Save and close the template. In the NTS System Config system template, expand the Visit Set Config panel, and then map the Chiropractic visit set

You can use system and practice templates to configure the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates according to your requirements. This information is intended for the staff responsible for maintaining the configuration settings. Visit Set Config Panel

Use the Visit Set Config (Advanced Configuration) panel to set the default specialty for each visit set within the NextGen® Therapy Suite. The assigned specialty determines which default template information is opened, such as Past Medical History being opened only for Chiropractic visits. Add Treatment Plan Details for Chiro Visits

In the NTS Chiro Single Visit template, expand the Assessment/Plan panel. In the Plan Details section, and then select A/P Details. The Chiro A/P Details template opens. If this is the first visit in this case, the Treatment grid will be empty. Afterwards, when you open this template, all entries in the grid copy forward from the prior visit. Chiro A/P Details template (blank) Select the Treatment field. A picklist of treatment items opens. Do one of the following to add all treatment activities you plan to use to rehabilitate the patient: Select the items from the picklist, and then select Close or Done. As you select each item, it automatically appears the Treatment grid. To enter a treatment that is not listed in the picklist, select the blank space in the list to close the picklist, and then enter the text in the Treatment field. Select Save. Chiro Single Visit

Use the NTS Chiro Single Visit template for chiropractic care. The template has a top section for general information, History/Review, Reason for Visit, Objective, and Assessment/Plan panels, and sections at the bottom for signoff and to indicate providers who should get carbon copies of documentation.
