Set Up the Opening of Chiro A/P Details Template

You can configure a setting that allows you to open the Chiro A/P Details template from the Plan Details grid in the Assessment/Plan panel on the NTS Chiro Single Visit template. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Under Show, select All. On the System tab, select Configuration Home, and then select OK. In the Configuration Navigation pane, select Framework Content. The Framework Content system template opens. Framework Content system template Select Orthopedics as the specialty and your practice as the practice. Expand the Assessment / Plan Navigation Configuration panel. In the Practice grid, select the row corresponding to the A/P Details tab. The corresponding details appear in the fields above the grid. In the Template Name field, select ainf_ch_ap_access_plan, and then select Update. Save and close the template. In the NTS System Config system template, expand the Visit Set Config panel, and then map the Chiropractic visit set

You can configure the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. From the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel, you can do the following on the My Plan template: Allows a dynamic My Plan template based on specialty, practice, and provider. Visit Set Config Panel

Use the Visit Set Config (Advanced Configuration) panel to set the default specialty for each visit set within the NextGen® Therapy Suite. The assigned specialty determines which default template information is opened, such as Past Medical History being opened only for Chiropractic visits. Manage the My Plan Grid

The Assessment / Plan Navigation Configuration panel allows you to create or update dynamic My Plan templates based on practice or provider. You can also update the captions, templates, and sequence of the tabs. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. Select the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel.The default configuration for the selected specialty, practice, and provider appears in all the specialty and practice grids in the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration. In the grid, select an item. To move one or more items from the specialty grid to the provider or practice grid, select to move one item at a time and select to move all items at once. Note: You can update the caption, template name, and sort order of the items. My Plan Sub-Navigational Link

The My Plan sub-navigational link opens the My Plan or My Custom Plan template to select an assessment and place the applicable orders associated with the diagnosis categories for the selected assessment. The template that opens in the My Plan tab out-of-the-box is the original template. Note: The My Plan tab can hold one of two templates: My Plan or My Custom Plan. My Plan - is packaged as the default template; recommended for those clients who wish to continue using the current My Plan template. This template will eventually be retired (date to be determined) and no enhancements are being applied to it. My Custom Plan – created to improve usability by reducing the number of selects required for ordering while maintaining the functionality for Order Sets; recommended for clients who wish to take advantage of the significant modifications in the areas of Orders and Referrals.
