Exams

You can document on as many exams as necessary. To add exam information to the patient’s visit, select one of the exams from the left-hand list or select Additional to see, and then select other exams. Once you have added all necessary information on an Exam template, select Save & Close to close the template and save the information into the Exams grid on Single Visit. Exams grid Note: The left-hand list is configurable so you can remove exams that you will not use (for example, you may not see any Pediatric patients and, therefore, want to hide all Pediatric exams) or configure certain exams to show for specific therapists. The left navigation can be configured in the Navigation Config practice template. You can also compare multiple exams with the multi view option and view, edit, and review existing exams. Compare Exams with Multiview

You can compare current ROM and Strength findings measured today with findings from past visits. Select the Multi button below the Exams grid. A template opens to compare today’s visit measurements (first column) with two previous visits. If today’s visit is a Progress or DC visit, the system automatically pulls in the last two Progress visit data and the last Eval measurements into the next two columns. To change which encounters are shown, select the fields above the column headers, and then select other encounters. The visits that you select to display pull to the Office Note for comparison. If not configured to display Pre-, During and Post measurements, the Multiview does not display columns with those labels. Enter Multi-Test Comparisons

In exams where you can document ROM and Strength, you can also document multiple measurements for the same motion pertaining to before, during, and after treatment. The ability to multi-test is configured in the Practice Configuration practice template and can be turned off if it is not needed. If Multi-Test is turned on, Pre-Treatment, During-Treatment, and Post-Treatment options appear on the exam template. Pre-Treatment is selected by default. Note: Once anyone in the practice enters During-Treatment or Post-Treatment measurements, Multi-Test cannot be turned off. Documenting Exams

The Exams section on the Single Visit template has a grid that shows all exams recorded for the patient, and a list of exams that you can use to document exams performed in the current encounter. You can fill out as many different exams as needed for the patient on a single encounter. All data entered on any exam is displayed in the grid.
