Send Documents and Images from the PAQ to the Portal

Before you begin

You must do the following:
  • Add documents and images to a patient's chart.
  • Set up custom rules for PAQ.

You can send documents, SAP Crystal Reports, NextGen® Enterprise EHR images, and NextGen® Document Management images to NextGen® PxP Portal from the PAQ module in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can send the documents using Sign-off or Sign-off with Actions.
  1. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR top toolbar, select the PAQ button.
    The Workflow window opens.
  2. On the Pending tab, select a document or an image.
    A preview of the item appears in the viewing pane.
  3. On the toolbar, select Sign-off with Actions.
  4. Select Send To Patient Portal and select Run Actions.
  5. In the Patient Portal Document Export window, enter a comment or add a standard response
  6. Select Send.
    A message states that the document is sent to NextGen® PxP Portal.
  7. Select OK.
    The documents are sent to NextGen® PxP Portal and added to the document history. The Sent to NextGen® PxP Portal right-facing arrow icon appears on the right side of the document name after it is sent to NextGen® PxP Portal.
