Enrollment Status in NextGen® Enterprise PM

A patient's enrollment status indicates the state of the enrollment of the patient in NextGen® PxP Portal. You can view the patient's enrollment status in the following locations in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Patient Information Bar Daily tab on the Appointment Book window Appointment Information window Add Patient Information window Add Person Information window Modify Patient Information window Modify Person information window Patient Lookup window Person Lookup window NextGen® Enterprise PM footer Patient information section on the Patient Chart Enrollment Status Indicators of Patients You can view and update the enrollment statuses of patients. Inviting Patients for Enrollment

An enrollment invitation email is automatically sent after the mandatory demographic information is available on the Add Patient Information or Modify Patient Information windows. You also have the option to manually send enrollment invitations. You can send enrollment invitations to: Patients who have patient charts in your practice in NextGen® Enterprise EHR People with no encounters or patient charts; such as, a healthcare provider acting on behalf of a patient or a parent acting on behalf of a child. After the invitation is sent, the patient's enrollment status changes to Pending. Audit events appear in the Audit Report Tool when the patient receives the enrollment invitation email or a patient response is removed. Note: The Temporarily Unavailable icon indicates that the API service is currently not available. You are able to view the current enrollment status after the service is restored. Enrollment Status Indicators of Patients

NextGen® PxP Portal has the following enrollment status indicators. Status Icon Tool Tip Description Not enrolled Not Enrolled in Patient Portal The patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. Not enrolled Aged Out The patient is aged out and the enrollment of guardian is revoked. Pending Patient Portal enrollment pending The practice has initiated the patient's enrollment, but the patient has not completed the enrollment. Completed Completed Enrollment Last Login Date MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS Note: The last logon information appears only when the icon is available for selecting. The patient has completed the enrollment. Deactivated Patient Portal deactivated The practice has deactivated the NextGen® PxP Portal account of the patient. If the account is activated again, the enrollment status changes to Completed. Viewing Patient Portal Enrollment Status

You can view the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Add Person Information and Add Patient Information windows in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM if the practice uses NextGen® PxP Portal. You can select the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status icon to open the Patient Portal Enrollment window.
