Delete a Body Part Entry

You can remove a body part entry and all picklists associated with it. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Components panel. Select the body part from the grid. Click Delete. Parent topic: Configuring Components for Surgery Scheduling

Change Components Picklist Order

The Position fields above the Picklist and Column Header fields have numbers that indicate the order in which the picklists appears in the IORTS Components template. You can change the order by changing the numbers. Position field in the Components panel On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Components panel. Select the desired body part from the grid. The fields below the grid displays the picklist and column headers for the selected body part. In the Position field above the desired component picklist, select the new position number. The new order number enters that Position field. Note: The picklist that formerly had the new position number displays the previous position number of newly positioned picklist. Click Add - Update. Add a Body Part for Components

You can add new body parts to Body Part picklist in the IORTS Components template. You can add up to eight components picklists for each body part. On the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template, expand the Components panel. In the field below the Body Part section of the grid, enter the name of the body part. Note: The system alerts you if the body part entered already exists. Body Part field in the Components panel The IORTS Get Avail Picklist window opens displaying a list of available picklists that you can associate with the body part. Components picklist in the Body Parts grid If the IORTS Get Avail Picklist window does not open, click in the Picklist field. Select a picklist, and click OK. Remove a Component Picklist Associated with a Body Part

Configuring Components for Surgery Scheduling

You can configure hardware needed for a surgery or being removed in a surgery from the Components panel of the IORTS Cfg Surgery Schedule system template. You can also configure the body part, the picklists attached to the body part, the display name, and the order in which the picklists appear. The gray tabs along the top displays the picklist column headers for the selected body part. Add Components Individually

On the Surgery Sched template, expand the Surgery Information panel. To add new components not included in a QuickPick, click the Add/Update Components button. The Date of surgery field is read-only. IORTS Components template The IORTS Components template opens. Click the Body Part field to select a body part. The body part selected determines the component categories that display. Column headers on the IORTS Components template Click the fields below the grid to select items from the picklists. The picklists are multi-select. You can select multiple items in one picklist before closing it and moving on to the next field. Note: Some picklists have only a free-type option, select --Free-Text-- to type in the component information. Once you have entered all information, click Add to save the component to the grid.
