Update a Panel Display Name

You can update display names of panels for any NextGen® Orthopedic Suite template. On the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Panel Label Config panel. From the Templates grid, select the template on which the panel is found. The Panels grid displays the panels for the selected template. Select the desired panel. The name of the selected panel appears in the field below the Panels grid. Panel Label Config panel on the Miscellaneous Configuration template Update the panel name, and click Update. Restore the Default Display Names to Templates

You can restore the display names for all the templates of NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. On the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Template Display Names panel. Click Reset at the bottom-right side of the grid. Parent topic: Template Display Name Configuration

Add or Update the Template’s Display Name

You can update a template’s display name or add a display name to a template that does not have one. On the IORTS Miscellaneous Configuration practice template, expand the Template Display Names panel. Select the desired template from the grid. The template name and display name (if available) appear in the relevant fields below the grid. Type the desired display name in the field below the Display Name column of the grid. Click Update. Specialty Configuration Home

The Specialty Config Home template displays a summary of all the configuration templates in the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite, with a brief description of what a user can do on each template. The product ID list at the bottom shows the current versions of NextGen Healthcare products installed, for quick reference. The product ID for NextGen® Orthopedic Suite is NOS. Note: If you have other NextGen Healthcare products installed, the Specialty Config Home template displays those as well. Instructions for other products are not covered in this guide. Template Links

You can use the links that appear on the templates of NextGen® Orthopedic Suite to open frequently used templates. The links for frequently used templates vary for each workflow, based on the configurations for your practice, provider, and specialty. The links can also vary depending on the visit type and age of the patient. Template links You can configure links using the Sub Bar Navigation panel on the Navigation Configuration system template.
