Managing Provider and Clinical Staff Picklists

You can configure provider and clinical staff picklists using the Provider & Clinical Staff Picklists panel of the Picklist Configuration practice template. You can also use the Provider & Clinical Staff Picklists panel to set up sign-off rights for different sign-off fields, based on security groups. Managing Database Picklists

You can configure picklists values for specific database picklists in the Database Picklists panel of the Picklist Configuration practice template. The database picklists are found in the Assessment and Plan, Medical Decision Making (MDM) sections, as well as the HPI sections of the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates. Picklist Configuration

You can manage all template and database picklists, provider and clinical staff picklists, sign-off rights, and facilities picklists on the Picklist Configuration practice template. Update or Delete a Facility

On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Facility Picklists panel. In the Extended Care Facilities (ECF)\Skilled Nursing Facilities(SNF) grid, select the desired facility. The information corresponding to selected facility appears in the relevant fields below the grid. To update the facility, make desired changes in relevant fields, and then click Update. Add a Facility to the Facility Picklist

On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Facility Picklists panel. In the fields below the Extended Care Facilities (ECF)\Skilled Nursing Facilities(SNF) grid, enter the relevant information. Click Add. Managing Database Picklist

You can manage any of the database picklists used for configuration of navigation links in the Database Picklist panel of the Specialty Nav Config system template. In the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite this pertains to forms, non-billable visit types, and fracture care types.
