Add a CPT Code or Visit Code to the Group Type

You can add an applicable CPT code or visit code to the group type. On the Billing Configuration practice template, expand the MIPS Quality Measures panel. Under the Quality Mesures section, select the group in the Group grid. The Type and Applicable CPT Codes grids show codes for that group. Note: When MIPS Quality Measure information is sent to billing from the Finalize Visit template, the visit charge code must match one of those in Applicable CPT Codes grid. Click the small field below the Applicable CPT Codes grid. The Select Procedure window opens. Select the procedure to be added, and click OK. Remove a Code from the Applicable CPT Codes Grid

Enable a Financial Class for MIPS Quality Measures

You can add an eligible financial class for MIPS Quality measures. On the Billing Configuration practice template, expand the MIPS Quality Measures panel. In the field below the Eligible financial classes for MIPS Quality Measures reporting grid, select the financial class. Click Add. The financial class appears in the grid. Select the financial class in the Eligible financial classes for MIPS Quality Measures reporting grid to see all payers for that financial class, in the Payers in the list and Payers not in the list grids. MIPS Quality Measures

You can set up eligible financial classes for MIPS Quality Measures and the codes for the measures on the MIPS Quality Measures panel of the Billing Configuration practice template. You can also set certain payers as exceptions to general financial class rules. MIPS Quality Measures panel on the Billing Configuration template Note: By default, submitting charges on the Finalize Visit template sends the codes configured for MIPS Quality Measures. If your practice does not report on these measures, select the This Practice does not require MIPS Quality Measures check box to disable this feature. View and Change the Order of Diagnoses Codes

You can view diagnosis codes attached to a procedure and change the order in which those codes are displayed for billing purposes. On the Finalize Visit template, click the View button under the grid displaying the Visit Type, Billing Status, Description, and more. The IORTS FV View template opens. IORTS FV View template Select a procedure from the Procedures grid to view the diagnosis codes. A diamond next to the procedure indicates the selected procedure. The fields below the grid fill with the corresponding data from the grid. The lower left section displays ICD codes attached to the selected procedure. To change the order of the codes, select a diagnosis code and use the up and down arrows to move the code up or down in the list. The code at the top is the primary ICD code. Reporting CPT® II Claims Based Measure on Finalize

You can activate the claims-based reporting on the Finalize template. Practices who use CPT II procedure codes for claims-based measure reporting can use the CPT II Claims Based Measure Reporting panel on the Finalize template to submit CPT II codes. To activate the CPT II Claims Based Measure Reporting panel, you must turn on the Assign diagnosis code to CPT II on Finalize option in the Practice Configuration template. When a patient encounter documentation is saved, and it meets the CPT II code criteria configured on the Coded Results Mapping template, the CPT II code is automatically sent to the Finalize template. You can view the CPT II codes that are assigned during the patient encounter in the CPT II Claims Based Measure Reporting panel. You can then submit the CPT II codes to the Superbill directly on the Finalize template. The information icon on the Today’s CPT II Codes grid provides instructions on how to use the Finalize template to assign diagnosis codes to the CPT II codes
