You can add outside diagnostic studies to the Outside Diagnostic Studies grid to maintain a complete picture of the patient's diagnostic history. These studies may be discussed in the intake process or sent from an outside facility.
- Click Add below the Outside Diagnostic Studies grid.
The Outside Diagnostic Studies template opens.
- Enter the Category and Body Part below the grid.
Best practice recommends that you enter a Category and Body Part for outside diagnostics because these fields are used to filter radiology grids.
- Enter the Test Description.
- Enter the Performed date and the Location for the study.
- For Electronic Results, select one of the following:
- If known, enter the Findings and Impressions from the report.
- Click Add.
Note: You must enter the Test Description, Performed date, and Location to add the test.
- Click Save & Close.
