Add a Template to a Side Navigation Menu Group

  1. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Side Navigation panel.
  2. In the Category field, select Exam or Fracture.
    The default exams corresponding to the selection appear in the side navigation and the grid.
  3. In the Menu Group field, select the desired menu group.
    The grid fills with the default exam templates for the selected category and menu group.
  4. Open a Category and select a Menu Group to populate the grid with the templates for that group.
  5. In the field below the Link To / Template Name column of the grid, select the template to be added to side navigation.

    The details relevant to selected template appear in the corresponding fields below the grid.
  6. Enter or edit the display name for template, as required.
  7. To associate a body part with the template, select a body part below the Body Part column of the grid.
    The associated body part determines what template is launched when jumping from menu group to menu group. For example: On the Knee Exam, if you click ROM, it will automatically launch Knee ROM if configured with a body part of Knee.
  8. Click Add/Update.
