Add a Template to the Preferred Templates List

Scroll down the Available Templates list on the left side to locate the template you want to select. Select to highlight the template name in the list. Click the right arrow button to add the highlighted template to the Preferred Templates list on the right side. Note: Click the double right arrow button to copy the entire list of available templates in the Available Templates list to the Preferred Templates list on the right. The template(s) display(s) in the Preferred Templates list on the right. (The template(s) still appears in the list of Available Templates on the left.) Configuring Preferred Templates

Templates that a user prefers to use and wants to access quickly can be added to a preferred templates list for the user. When you have created a list of preferred templates, those templates display in the Template Launcher Select Template window when you select the option to Show Preferred. To make the templates you most frequently use easier to access, you can select a list of preferred templates to display. You must set up separate preferred lists for Medical Records, Demographics, Group, System, Practice, and Case templates. Select the template type from the Template Type list. Medical Records is the default template type in the Template Type list. The available templates for that template type display in the Available Templates pane. Do one of the following: For each template to add as a preferred template, select the template, and select the single-arrow button to add it to the Preferred Templates pane. To move all templates to the Preferred Templates pane, select the double-arrow button. Select Apply. Select OK. Parent topic: Templates Preferences

Disable a Template Set

If a specific template set is no longer required for your Enterprise, you can disable it. In the Template Sets window, from the Template Sets list, select the template set you want to disable. Delete all templates that are assigned to the template set. Note: You cannot disable a template set that contains templates. In the Assigned window, select all templates, and then select Move Left or Move All Left. Select Disable. A warning window opens. To disable the template set, select Yes. Select Save. If the disabled template set becomes necessary at a later time, select the set, and then select Enable. Parent topic: Template Sets

Delete a Trigger

To open the Triggers window, do one of the following: Right-click anywhere on the template, and then select Triggers from the shortcut menu. Select the Trigger icon on the Main toolbar. From the View menu, select Triggers. Select a specific field within the template. Select the Trigger icon on the Main toolbar, or right-click the selected field, and then select Triggers from the shortcut menu. Select the trigger you want to delete. Select Delete. The trigger is deleted for the field and is removed from the Triggers window. Parent topic: General Trigger Setup

Remove a Template Default Set

On the Template Defaults Setup system template, select a row in the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section, with the default set you wish to delete. In the Copy/Delete Selected Set section, click the Delete Set button. The selected default set is deleted from the grid. Parent topic: Template Default Sets Panel
