Edit Visual Acuity Findings
You can update acuity findings documented in the current encounter. In the Visual Acuity panel, select a row with an * from one of the following grids: OD OS OU The values are uploaded to the corresponding fields. Make the desired changes. ClickUpdate. Remove Visual Acuity Findings
You can remove acuity findings documented in the current encounter. In the Visual Acuity panel, select a row with an * row from one of the following grids: OD OS OU The values are uploaded to the corresponding fields. Click Remove. Enter Visual Acuity Findings
To document visual acuity, you can select OD and OS values and modifiers, as appropriate. The system moves you to the next field as you document each parameter. For example, after you document the OD Dva sc and modifier, the picklist opens for OS Dva sc. In the Visual Acuity panel, click Add. The Oph Eyetech template opens. Select the OD value for Dva sc. The modifier pick list opens. Select a modifier from the list or click the blank row at the top of the list if no value is needed. The system moves to the OS value for Dva sc. Repeat the steps above for each parameter. Enter the Correction Type and Vision Method. Enter the Comments for OD, OS, or OU. Click Add. Update Previously Documented Visual Acuity Exam Findings
You can use the Oph Eyetech template to edit visual acuity exam findings. Click the Visual Acuity link to open the Oph EyeTech template. The Oph Eyetech template opens. oph eyetech template To edit visual acuity findings, double-click the row in the Visual Acuity grid.The Visual Acuity – OPH template opens. visual acuity template Click a field and select a value from the serial lists. Document Additional Notes

Reviewing and Updating the Visual Acuity Exam Findings
The Visual Acuity section of the Visual Acuity/Lensometry/Refraction panel displays exam findings for the last five encounters. You can click the Visual Acuity link to add new and review historical exam findings on the Oph EyeTech template. In provider workflow, the visual acuity findings documented by the technician should be reviewed and updated, if appropriate. Visual Acuity findings are documented using serial lists . Findings for an exam parameter are entered, followed by a modifier for the parameter.
