Document a Cataract Post Op Plan

You can document post-operative complications after cataract surgery requiring additional surgery on the Cataract Post-Op Complications template. Information documented here also appears on the Postoperative Exam - OPH template.
  1. On the Assessment/Plan - OPH template, in the Plan section, click the Cataract Post-Op Plan link.
    The Cataract Post-Op Complications template opens.
  2. Click the S/P surgery field to select the procedure.
  3. Select the affected eye or eyes for the Eye field.
  4. Enter Global days, Date of surgery, and the Surgeon.
  5. If additional surgery is required, select the Additional surgery performed within 30 days post cataract surgery due to field and enter the details in the corresponding field.

  6. Click Save & Close.
