Select Resources for Viewing Schedules

Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The selected resources appear with different colors. Select Done. The Schedules view opens with the selected resources' appointments for the day. Note: You can open the calendar in Schedules to view appointments on different dates. View Schedules for Selected Dates

By default, the Schedule view displays your appointments for the current calendar date. You can edit the layout to display events for a selected date. Note: NextGen® Mobile purges schedules that are older than 15 days and are not attached to an encounter. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon.The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources.The Schedule view opens. To open the calendar, select the displayed date in the Schedule view.The dates that have scheduled patients are marked with dots in the calendar. Calendar view To check the previous and next day schedules, select previous button or Next button.The appointment schedules for the selected date appear. Start Virtual Visits

Virtual visit patients do not come to your office. When the virtual-visit scheduled patients check in, a virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon Virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon appears in the Schedule view. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon.The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources.The Schedule view opens. On the Schedule view entry of the patient, select Join. Schedule view for virtual visit The Virtual Patient view opens. View Personal Calendars on Your Schedule

Before you begin You must sync your phone calendar with NextGen® Mobile. You can edit the Schedule view to display the events from one or more devices' calendars. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Select Personal Calendar. The Schedule view displays events from your personal calendars. View Appointments and To Do List Items in Outlook

After downloading appointments and to-do list items for a resource from NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can view the appointments in the Calendar folder and the to-do list items in the Tasks folder in Microsoft® Outlook. This integration provides a unified view of schedules and responsibilities, enhances operational efficiency, supports better time management, minimizes oversight, and promotes coordinated workflows across the practice. Open Microsoft Outlook. Do one of the following: To view the appointments, open the Calendar folder and hover over an appointment to display a tooltip with the necessary information. To view the to-do list items, open the Tasks folder. Appointments scheduled in NextGen® Enterprise PM appear on the calendar in Outlook, and To Do List items entered in theAppointment Book under the Daily view in NextGen® Enterprise PM appear as tasks in Outlook. Integrate Outlook Mail with NextGen Mail

If your practice normally uses Microsoft® Outlook for email, you can integrate Outlook mail with NextGen Mail to use both within NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General.The User Preferences window appears. Select the General tab. In the Mail Options section, select the Logon to Outlook Mail at startup checkbox. For Default, select either NextGen or Outlook, based on the mail used most often. To save changes and close the window, select OK. Log off, and then log on to NextGen® Enterprise PM for the changes to take effect. Note: If the Logon to Outlook Mail at startup checkbox is not selected and the Outlook button is selected as the default, then your Outlook mail does not display in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
