On the
Medication Picklist
system template, expand the
Administering Template Body Part/Location
panel.
From the
Template
field, select
MLTS_inj_pro_admin
.
From the
Procedures Types
grid, select the desired procedure type.
From the
Admin Types
grid, select the desired administration type.
All the available values for the
Body Parts
picklist appear in the
Body Parts
grid.
Select the value to update.
The description and
CPT®
code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid.
Make the required updates, and select
Update
.

Add Values to Body Parts Picklists
You can add picklist values for the Body Part fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. From the Procedures Types grid, select the appropriate procedure type. From the Admin Types grid, select the appropriate administration type. In the field below the Description column of the Body Parts grid, enter the picklist value to be added. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code column. Select Add. The value appearing in the grid is in the order it should appear in the picklist. Manage Body Parts Picklists for Injections/Aspirations Template
You can add or update the picklist values for the Body Part fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. You can manage the picklists using the Body Parts grid in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. This configuration associates the body parts for medication administration with appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes for billing purposes. The Body Parts grid displays all entries in the Body Parts picklist for the selected procedure and admin type. Update Values in the Primary Locations Picklists
On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the appropriate procedure type, administration type and body part in the corresponding grids. The Primary Locations grid is automatically filled with the configured values. Select the value to update. The description and CPT® code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make the required updates, and select Update. Update Values in Body Parts Picklists
You can update the body part description for the Body Part picklists of the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_medAdmin_OPH. Select Injection in the Procedures Types grid. The Admin Types grid displays administration types configured for injections. Select the administration type from the Admin Types grid. The Body Parts grid displays pre-loaded values for the selected administration type. Select the value to update. The description and CPT code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Update Values in the Secondary Locations Picklists
On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the procedure type, administration type and body part in the upper grids. Select the primary location from the Primary Locations grid to display secondary locations. In the Secondary Locations grid select the value to update. The description and CPT® code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make the required updates, and select Update. Update Values in Sides Picklists
You can update picklist values for the Side fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the appropriate values in the Procedures Types, Admin Types, Body Parts grids. All the available values for the Sides picklist appear in the Sides grid. Select the value to update. The description and CPT code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid.
