Update Values in the Secondary Locations Picklists
On the
Medication Picklist
system template, expand the
Administering Template Body Part/Location
panel.
In the
Template
field, select
MLTS_inj_pro_admin
.
Select the procedure type, administration type and body part in the upper grids.
Select the primary location from the
Primary Locations
grid to display secondary locations.
In the
Secondary Locations
grid select the value to update.
The description and
CPT®
code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid.
Make the required updates, and select
Update
.

Update Values in the Primary Locations Picklists
On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the appropriate procedure type, administration type and body part in the corresponding grids. The Primary Locations grid is automatically filled with the configured values. Select the value to update. The description and CPT® code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make the required updates, and select Update. Add Values to Secondary Locations Picklists
You can add values in the picklists for the Secondary Locations picklists used for selecting secondary locations for the primary locations of Fingers and Toes. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the procedure type from the Procedure Types grid. Select the administration type from the Admin Types grid. Select the body part from the Body Part grid. Select the primary location from the Primary Locations grid to display secondary locations. Enter the new secondary location into the field below the Secondary location column of the Secondary Locations grid. Select Add. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the appropriate values in the Procedures Types, Admin Types, Body Parts, and Sides grids. In the field below the Description column of the Primary Locations grid, enter the picklist value to be added. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code column. Select Add. The value appears in the grid in the order it should appear in the picklist. You can change the description and the order of the item in the Portals/Approaches picklists of the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the appropriate procedure type, administration type and body part in the corresponding grids. The Portals/Approaches grid is automatically filled with the configured values. Select the value to update. The description and CPT® code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make the required updates, and select Update. Add Values to Portals/Approaches Picklists
You can add values in the picklists for Portal/Approach fields of the Injections/Aspirations template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the procedure type, administration type and body part (in the top three grids). The Primary Locations and Portals/Approaches grids are filled with pre-loaded values for the selected body part. The CPT code for the selected Admin Type appears in the field below the Code column of the grid. In the field below the Description column of the Portals/Approaches grid, enter the desired picklist value. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code column. Select Add. The value appears in the grid in the order it should appear in the picklist. Manage Locations and Portal/Approaches Picklists for Injections/Aspirations Template
You can add or update the picklist values for the Location and Portal/Approach fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. You can manage the picklist values using Primary Locations, Secondary Locations, and Portal/Approach grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. The Primary Locations and Portal/Approaches grids display locations and portal or approaches that are configured for the selected body part. The Secondary Locations grid displays secondary locations based on the primary location on fingers and toes.
