Reactivate Admin Override for a User
You can reactivate admin override rights for a user. On the MICS Admin Configuration system template, expand the Administration Override Configuration panel. Select the Inactive option on top of the Users with Admin Override Rights grid. The grid displays all users with inactive administrative rights. Select the required user, and select Toggle. Configure Admin Override for Users
You can assign administrative override rights to specific users within the practice. The user with administrative override permission can use admin override functionality to update the documentation that are submitted for billing from the medical record templates. On the MICS Admin Configuration system template, expand the Administration Override Configuration panel. Select the Use MICS Admin Override check box. Ensure that the Active option is selected. In the fields below the Users with Admin Override Rights grid, select the user to whom you want to grant administrative override rights. You can reactivate administrative override rights for a security group. On the MICS Admin Configuration system template, expand the Administration Override Configuration panel. Select the Use MICS Admin Override check box. Select Inactive option on top of the Security Groups grid. All inactive user groups appear in the Security Groups grid. If you have configured administrative override permission for a security group, all users of the group can use admin override functionality to update the documentation that are submitted for billing from the medical record templates. On the MICS Admin Configuration system template, expand the Administration Override Configuration panel. Select the Use MICS Admin Override check box. Make sure that the Active option is selected. Configuring Administrative Override
You can configure security groups and users that have permission to override or remove documentation from the NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can configure the administrative override permission in the Administrative Override Configuration panel on the MICS Admin Configuration system template. Overriding documentation does not remove charges sent over to NextGen® Enterprise PM. Those must be removed manually. You can also view the 100 most recent uses of the administrative override in the 100 Most Recent Admin Override Uses. You can generate a report of all administrative overrides using the Admin Override Report button. Note: Before configuring admin override for users and security groups, you must select Use MICS Admin Override check box to enable the admin override functionality for your practice.
