Send a Task

When charges are submitted, a Task button appears. You can use it to send a task to a user or workgroup, including yourself. Select the Task button. The Reason for Tasking window opens. Enter a reason into the field and select OK. A Select Task Recipients window opens. Select the recipient (user or workgroup) from the Available Users/Workgroups list. Select Add>> to move the recipient to the Task Recipients list. As needed, repeat steps 3 and 4 to add additional recipients. Select OK to send the task. The text you entered as Reason for Tasking, shows in the field next to the Task button and in the task, description sent to the recipient’s inbox. Parent topic: Submitting Immunization Charges

Set Up Task Recipients

You can set up task recipients. Open the Quick Task Setup template. Select User Name and select a username from the list. Select Source template and select a template from the list. Note: In run time, the task will be sent only to the recipient configured for the template. Select the location. If you select Specific, the Location field is enabled and displays the current practice location. You can also choose another practice location from the list. If you select All, the Location field remains disabled. Select the Task to field and select Individual or Group: To change the task priority from the default value of Normal, select Priority and select the priority. To modify or override the priority level, select the Allow to override check box. If you select Allow to override check box, the application opens the Quick Task Priority template when you select Quick Task from the Source Template. Create a Task for an Intervention

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. If an intervention requires an action by a provider, you can create a task for that provider. The tasks you create are not linked to a particular intervention and behave as any other task in the tasking function. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Interventions panel. Select the intervention for which you need to create a task and click Task. The To Do window appears. To Do The Date Due and Priority fields are pre-filled with current date and priority. Note: If you want to specify a different date or priority, click the corresponding fields and then select appropriate value. Select a Subject and a Category. Type the message in the Message field. Click Save & Close. The Attach template appears. Attach Do one of the following: If you do not want to attach a document, then click the No Attachment option. Add a Task

You can create and assign tasks to users as an action items for them to perform. In the QuickPick toolbar, click the Task icon icon. The Add New Task template opens. Add New Task template Click the Task Name field. The Get Tasks window opens. Select the task from the Get Tasks window, and click OK. The Subject and Description fields are filled automatically. You can edit it, if required. Click the Due Date field, and select the due date to complete the task. Select the priority. Type the subject and description. Select the Attach Patient option if you need to attach the current patient to the task. Select the Attach Item option. If you select Current Template, the current template name appears in the blank field. If you select Template or Document, click the blank field to select the desired template or document. Assign Tasks

You can assign a task to a specific user or workgroup or to the rendering provider to automatically send the task to them. Warning: You must assign a recipient to the New NDC Added and New SIM Code Added tasks. If no recipient is assigned, no task fires even if the task is enabled. On the Specialty Config Home template, select Tasking Manager from the left navigation bar. On the MICS Tasking Manager template, expand the Tasks panel. Tasks_panel From the Tasks grid, select the task you want to assign. The Task Name field on the Task Options panel displays the call name for the selected task. Task Options panel In the Task Options panel, select the task recipients under Task To: The selected recipient appear in the Name field.
