Add a Provider Panel Default
Select the field below the
Provider
column of the grid.
A picklist of providers opens.
Select a provider and select
OK
.
The MLTSprocTypeGrid picklist opens.
Select the procedure type and select
OK
.
The selected procedure enters the first
Panel
field.
The picklist re-opens after each selection until all five panel fields are filled.
Select
Add-Update
to save the provider panel defaults to the grid.

Update a Provider’s Panel Defaults
You can update the panel defaults set for a provider. Select the provider in the grid. The providers name and current panel defaults fill the fields below the grid. Select any of the panel fields that you want to change. The MLTSprocTypeGrid picklist opens. Select the procedure type from the picklist and select OK. The panel field updates. Repeat steps 2-3 for all panels that you want to change. Select Add-Update to save the new defaults to the grid. Parent topic: Injections & Aspirations Provider Defaults

Delete a Provider Default

Injections & Aspirations Provider Defaults
The Injections and Aspirations template has five panels, each of which can be set to document either injections or an aspiration. These panels all default to a procedure type of Injection unless configured otherwise for the provider. For providers who perform aspirations, you can use the Injections and Aspirations Provider Panel Defaults panel to configure provider-specific defaults for the Injections and Aspirations template panels. Add Values to Admin Types Picklists
You can add picklist values for the Admin Type fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. From the Procedures Types grid, select the desired procedure type. In the field below the Description column of the Admin Types grid, enter the desired picklist value. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code field. Select Add. The value appears in the grid in the order it should appear in the picklist. Add Values to Portals/Approaches Picklists
You can add values in the picklists for Portal/Approach fields of the Injections/Aspirations template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_inj_pro_admin. Select the procedure type, administration type and body part (in the top three grids). The Primary Locations and Portals/Approaches grids are filled with pre-loaded values for the selected body part. The CPT code for the selected Admin Type appears in the field below the Code column of the grid. In the field below the Description column of the Portals/Approaches grid, enter the desired picklist value. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code column. Select Add. The value appears in the grid in the order it should appear in the picklist. Manage Admin Types for Injections/Aspirations template
You can add or update the picklist values for the Admin Type fields on the MICS Injections/Aspirations template. You can manage the picklists using the Admin Types grid in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. This configuration associates the medication administration types with appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes for billing purposes.
