Viewing an Image

Changing how you view an image can make an image easier to work with. You can use various tools to: Zoom in so you can see more detail. Zoom out to fit more of the image in the window. Magnify only the portion of the image where the magnifier is placed. View multiple images at the same time. Zoom In or Zoom Out On an Image

Select an image. For a larger view of the image, select Zoom In on the Viewing toolbar. For a smaller view of the image, select Zoom Out on the Viewing toolbar. Parent topic: Viewing an Image

Customize the Zoom Level

You can select how much you want to zoom in or out on an image. Select an image. Do one of the following: On the Viewing toolbar, select in the Custom Zoom field and enter a specific percentage. On the Main menu, select View > Zoom > Custom. The Zoom window opens. To change the zoom level in the Zoom window, you can do any of the following: Enter a percentage in the Zooming Scale field. Select the up and down arrow buttons in the Zooming Scale field. Move the slider left or right. Select one of the predefined zoom percentages. Parent topic: Viewing an Image

View Multiple Images in the Image Browser

The Image Browser displays all of the images currently open in the Imaging module. You cannot annotate or work with the images displayed in the Image Browser. From the Main menu, select Imaging > Open Image Browser. The Open Image Browser window opens. Open Image Browser If necessary, change how the images appear on the screen by doing the following: To resize and image, select and drag the Resize button on the image. To change the order of the images, select the image name in the list, and then use the arrow buttons to move it up or down the list. To change the layout of the images, select a number for how many images to display in the Horizontal and Vertical lists. Select Apply. Close the Image Browser. Parent topic: Viewing an Image

Zoom to Fit the Image in the Window

Select an image. Do one of the following: On the Viewing toolbar, select the Zoom to Window button. On the Main menu, select View > Zoom > Fit Window. The zoom level changes so that the entire image fits in the window. Parent topic: Viewing an Image
