Search for Document Management Images to Link

On the Orders Summary tab, select a completed test. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select the New Documents and Images Entry tab. In the Results toolbar, select Search DM. Select the check box for the image to link. Select OK. In the Results toolbar, select Link. The image is now linked to this test order. Select the Document Status of the document or image from the Document Status list, for example, Pending. To view the linked image, select the Documents, Images, and Urls tab. Unlink Documents and Images from Test Orders

If a document or image was linked to a selected test, you can unlink it from that test order. On the Orders Summary tab, select a test order that has an attached document or image To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. In the Results toolbar, select Unlink Document/Images/Url. Search NextGen® Enterprise EHR for Documents or Images to Link

On the Orders Summary tab, select a completed test. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select the New Documents and Images Entry tab. In the Results toolbar, select Search EHR. The search looks for any NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents or images that are associated with the encounter for the selected order. It returns any documents or images found in the Select Documents and Images window. Select the check box for the document to link. Select OK. In the Results toolbar, select Link. The document is now linked to the test order. Select the Document Status of the document or image from the Document Status list, for example, Pending. View a Document with a URL Link

In Encounter History tab, you can view documents or images using a URL link. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select an encounter that has a document with a URL link, and select the button. The Encounter Details window opens. Select the document you want to view. The document opens.
