To create and track your Immunization orders effectively, NextGen® Enterprise EHR Immunizations module provides comprehensive functionality that is based on how you set up Immunizations in File Maintenance and System Administrator. For quicker order processing of multiple patients within your practice, you can use a custom practice template with an Orders Management order control to view and complete orders for each patient from one location. You can create this type of custom Practice template in Template Editor and then access it in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Updating Lab and Radiology Orders

You can open an existing unlocked lab or radiology order and add or change details for it. You can also add comments for an updated order, if required. If the encounter associated with an order has been locked, you can only view the order. The Save, Save & Send, Save & Fax, Save & Print, or Save & Task actions are unavailable. When you update an unfinished order, you must complete all required fields that have been set up as Mandatory Data Points in File Maintenance Practice Preferences. These required fields appear in red text. If you do not fill in a required field, when you try to save your selections or entries, a message appears, prompting you to complete the field.
