Set Up Medication Search Default Filter Options
Open the
Medication Search
window.
From the
View
menu, select
Default Filter Options
.
The
Medication Search - Default Filter Options
window opens.
Do the following as applicable:
To view the brand name of the medications, select
Brand
.
To view the generic name of the medications, select
Generic
.
To view a list of medications appropriate to a particular diagnosis, select
Patient Problems
.
To view the selected health plan of the patient, select
Payer
.
To view all medications available in the database, select
All Medications
.
To view your favorite medications, select
Favorite Medications
and then select your favorite from the list.
Select
Apply
.

Open the Medication Search window. From the View menu, select Favorites Options. The Medication Search - Favorites Options window opens. Medication Search - Favorites Options window Select the applicable options. Note: The Hide Pediatric Sig Favorites on Adult Patients check box is selected by default at upgrade or install.
