Send Patient Education Documents

You can send selected patient education documents to NextGen® PxP Portal.

1. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following:
   • From the Cohorts tab, run a report.
   • From the My Lists tab, run a list.
   • From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients.
   The patient list appears in the patient grid.
2. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name.
3. From Document, select Patient Education.

   The Patient Education Browser window for the selected patient opens.

   

   Note: The language preference is set in NextGen® Enterprise PM or NextGen® Enterprise demographics. Spanish language is supported other than English.
4. On the left pane, select a topic.

   The selected topic appears on the right pane.

5. Do the following:
   • To save patient education documents, select Save to Encounter.
   • To send patient education documents to patients, select Send to Patient Portal. If the patients are not enrolled, then message appears as Patients are not enrolled in a Patient Portal: Patient Name
   • To print the patient education documents, select Print.
   • To add the patient education documents to cart, select Add to Cart.
   • To remove the patient education documents from cart, select Remove from Cart.
6. Select Cancel to close Patient Education Browser.
   The Patient Education history in Outreach Log is updated for the selected patient.
