Edit Patient Education Documents
The Patient Education grid in the Today's Orders panel displays the patient education documents that are added to a patient encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Checkout template. Expand the Today’s Orders panel. Select Patient Education To edit patient education documents, select Patient Education. The Patient Education Browser window opens. Note: You can use the browser to add or edit the list of patient education documents. Issuing Patient Education Documents
The Patient Education panel contains the education documents of a patient that are added to the patient's chart. You can print education documents for a patient by printing them or send the documents to the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account. When you save a patient education document to an encounter, NextGen® Enterprise EHR moves the document to the Patient Education grid in the Today’s Order panel. Send Patient Education Documents
You can send selected patient education documents to NextGen® PxP Portal. You can send patient education documents to NextGen® PxP Portal and save the document to the encounter for the selected patient. Note: In System Administrator, if Access Rights for Documents is set to No, then you cannot access Document on the NNextGen Care® Population Management Hub toolbar. For more information about setting access permissions to Document in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients.
