Request a History of Provider Referrals

After you add an insurer to the profile for a patient or other person, you can request a history file for all previous patient referrals from the insurer.
  1. From the main toolbar in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Chart.
  2. In the Patient Lookup window, enter search criteria, and then select Find.
  3. In Matching Records, right-click the patient record, and then select Open.
    The Demographics tab opens in the Modify Patient Information window.
  4. In Insurance Listing, select the open menu icon, and then select Referral History.
  5. In the Provider Referral Inquiry window, enter the requesting physician's name and any other information.
  6. Select OK.
