You can set a long-standing or recurring problem displayed in the problem list as chronic.
- Select the patient's encounter that contains the problem.
- Select a problem in the problem list that is not marked as Chronic.
- Do one of the following:
- Right-click the problem, and then select Set Chronic.
- On the problem list data entry area toolbar, select Set Chronic.
Note: If you select a problem that is already marked as Chronic, the Set Chronic option is not available.
- If necessary, select Refresh in the display area toolbar for the change to appear.
