Imaging Components

Imaging components are medical images that can be imported from a specific file stored on your workstation or network and saved within the NextGen® Enterprise EHR system. Once a medical image is imported and saved as an imaging component, you can place it on an Imaging Component toolbar and use it to annotate a patient’s image. You must have user rights and permissions to import or edit imagining components, as well as to create and edit imaging component sets and toolbars. Contact your system administrator about your user rights and permissions.
