Generate an Immunizations Summary Report

You can print the Immunizations Summary Report from the Orders module. The report displays the details of the administered COVID-19 vaccine which can be printed and submitted to the patient's employer or school. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookupwindow. Select or create an encounter from Encounter History. Open the Immunizations module. Order a COVID-19 vaccine. Record Past COVID-19 Vaccines

You can use the Past Vaccine Entry Form to record vaccinations received outside the practice. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookupwindow. Select or create an encounter from Encounter History. Open the Immunizations module. Select Historical. Note: If the selected encounter is not created for that day, a message appears prompting you to do one of the following: To select a different encounter, select Cancel, and then select an encounter from the Encounter History tab. To continue with the currently selected encounter, select No. To create an encounter, select Yes. The Past Vaccine Entry Form window opens. To select a vaccine from the past vaccines list, select a date range from the By Category list, and then select a displayed vaccine. To search for a vaccine, do the following: Select Search. You can record administration details of the COVID-19 vaccine in the Immunization module. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookupwindow. Select or create an encounter from Encounter History. Open the Immunizations module. To create an order, select New. Import from CCDA

You can import COVID-19 vaccination records from a Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (CCDA) document received by the practice using the Clinical Reconciliation module. For more information about the Clinical Reconciliation module, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Clinical Reconciliation Module User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and then open a CCDA document that contains external vaccine information. Open the Clinical Reconciliation module. To compare vaccine details, under Import, select the Immunizations tab. New vaccines display in the Import grid with a status of Add under the Action column, represented with a green plus sign . Note: The Action column displays COVID-19 vaccines that were received elsewhere and need to be imported. Generate a Report of Vaccinated Patients

You can use the NextGen® Enterprise EHR reporting tool to generate a report of vaccinated patients that can be used for tracking purposes. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookupwindow. From the File menu, select Reports > Generate Reports > by Practice.The NextGen Report Filter: Patient window opens. Under Settings List, select Orders. To create an immunization report, select Immunization in the Select Order Type list. To find a specific CPT® code for a vaccine, under Select Vaccine, select .The Vaccine Search window opens. On the Vaccine Search window, select a vaccine and select OK. To create a report of vaccinated patients, in the Vaccine Status list, select Include, and Administered. Order a COVID-19 Vaccine

You can order COVID-19 vaccines through the Immunizations module. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and then open the Immunizations module. To create an order, select New. The Create New Immunization Order window opens. To select the vaccine from a favorite category, do the following: Select a favorite category from the By Category list. The Select Vaccines section lists vaccines that are included in the selected category. Select a vaccine from the displayed list. To search for a vaccine from the inventory, do the following: Select Search All. The Search Vaccines window opens. Select Search inventory only to restrict the search to the vaccine inventory. Enter the vaccine name, CVX code, CPT4® code, or the CPT4 description, and then select Find. From the displayed list, select a vaccine, and then select OK.
