Manually Initiate Validation
To display the CDA Validation Report for the currently open document, Select the CDA Validation button in the left margin of the CDA Viewer. CDA Validation Button If the CDA was previous validated, then the validation report appears. If the CDA was never previously validated, then a message appears stating that validation is turned off. In this case, select Validate Now and the validation report opens. Validation Report The validation report lists the total number of errors and warnings. Specific text for each error and warning also appears in the display. You may need to resize the window and/or scroll to see all messages. If you update the schematron files for the HIE Gateway NextGen Validation service, you should revalidate the CDA to test changes in the service. To revalidate the CDA, select Revalidate. You can export the validation report to a file by clicking the Export button at the bottom of the CDA Validation pane. Parent topic: CDA Validation
