Designate a Person or Employer as the Guarantor
- Open the Person Information or Patient Information window for the desired person or patient.
- Select the Relations/Role tab.
- In Guarantor, select the open menu
icon, and then select either Person as Guarantor or Employer as Guarantor.
- If the patient is the guarantor, from the Guarantor Lookup window, select Self.
- If the guarantor is a person other than the patient, from the Guarantor Lookup window, do the following:
- Enter search criteria, and then select Find.
- In Matching Records, double-click an existing guarantor, or select New to add a record for the guarantor.
- In the Modify Guarantor Information window, update the information.
- In Relationship, select the guarantor's relationship to the patient, and then select OK.
