Select the Orders Filter Order Types, Order Status, and Date Context

After you have set up the name, commands, and columns for a new filter, you must select the filter order type(s) on the Data tab to complete the basic filter setup. You can also select the order status and dates to filter by. On the Set Orders Summary Filters window, select the Data tab. In the Select order types section, select the checkbox for each order type to filter by: LabOrder RadiologyOrder ImmunizationOrder To clear all order types, select Uncheck All. To include all order types, select Check All. To continue entering filter data without applying or saving the filter yet, proceed to step 5. To apply or save and apply the filter after you select the order types, select Apply or Save All & Apply. The filter is displayed on the Filters bar for the Orders Summary grid or the Orders Management grid. You can select the filter and the Manage Filters option again to enter data later. Do one of the following: On the Filters bar in the Orders panel of the Orders Summary tab, select Manage Filters. On the Filters bar in your custom Practice template with an Orders Management order control, select Manage Filters. The Set Orders Summary Filters window opens, with the Display tab in view. The initial display is for the All filter. Select the New Filter . The default Filter Name for the new filter is Filter_ and the filter number. The Make this practice filter at the lower right of the window is selected by default, and the new filter is added to the list of Practice filters. To create a private filter, clear the Make this practice filter check box. The new filter appears under a Private heading. Enter a Filter Name. To display a description when hovering over the filter, enter the ToolTip description. In the Select commands to filter section, select the check box for each command to display for processing orders for this filter. All available order commands are selected

To narrow your search results, you can search by the Create date or Next action date option. Open the Management Plan Reporting template. To add a report filter, select a filter option from the left pane. You can select from the following filter options: Category Plan name Status Provider Location The filters for the selected filter option appear in the left column. To add a filter to the right column, do one of the following: Select an item in the left column and use the arrows between the grids to move the item to the right column. You can add one or more filters at a time. Select the Add on row select checkbox and then select one or more filters in the left column to automatically move them to the right column. Report Filter grid To remove filters from the right column, do one of the following: Select an item in the right column and use the arrows between the two grids to move to the left column. You can change the sequence of the filters within the Private or Practice group on the Set Orders Summary Filters window and on the Top toolbar for the Orders Summary grid and the Orders Management grid. You cannot change the sequence of pre-defined filters. Do one of the following: On the Filters bar in the Orders panel of the Orders Summary tab, select Manage Filters.
