Custom Reports Use and Features
Report Filter options give you the flexibility that you need to create many types of reports. You can generate reports for an enterprise or a practice. By filtering various combinations of report data, you can produce more comprehensive and targeted reports to address particular needs. For example, you can select Diagnosis and Template data to refine the type of diagnosis information included in a report. While the data combinations are extensive and customizable, before generating reports consider the purpose of the report you wish to create and the type of results you wish to see. The general report categories and features include the following: Report Type Description Clinical data Create reports for data contained in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Clinical modules, including allergy, diagnosis, medication, and procedures data. Orders data Create reports for data based on the Lab or Diagnostic orders for a patient or practice within a selected enterprise. Provider data Filter Provider

Create Custom Report

Report Filter Examples
The Report Filter enables you to create simple or complex reports. From the Report Filter, you can: Select a module or option from the Settings List to filter module and patient data. Select a combination of modules or options from the Report Filter Settings List to filter module and patient data. Select additional informational and display options, including sorting, columns, and customizing the header or footer, prior to saving and/or generating a report. Custom Reports
Report Filter allows you to generate, view and print custom created reports. Reports could be built for either a specific practice (that you used to logon to the application) or a specific enterprise (that you used to logon to the application). Note: To create and generate NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports, there must be report types set up in File Maintenance. For the availability of report types, refer to your practice's System Administrator.
