The COMMON ORDERS list in Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) displays a list of the twenty most-frequently ordered items at the user and practice levels. You can set the period that CPOE uses to display the most-frequently ordered items. The default value is 90 days and the maximum limit is 999 days.
- Open File Maintenance.
- Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Practices.
The
Practices List window opens.
- Double-click a practice name.
The Modify Practice Information window opens.
- Select Preferences.
The Practice Preferences window opens.
- Under Preference List, select Orders Module.
- Select the All tab.
- In Commonly Used Orders Show for the past, enter the number of days.
Note: The COMMON ORDERS list in CPOE displays a user’s most-frequently ordered items based on the period you specify in Commonly Used Orders Show for the past.
- Select OK.
