Viewing an Image

Changing how you view an image can make an image easier to work with. You can use various tools to: Zoom in so you can see more detail. Zoom out to fit more of the image in the window. Magnify only the portion of the image where the magnifier is placed. View multiple images at the same time. Opening the Imaging Module

Before you begin Open the Imaging module by doing one of the following: Open an image saved to a patient's medical chart Open a new image stored on your system Scanning a new image When you open the Imaging module, it adds the following items to the Main menu: Items to the View menu. Imaging menu item. Add an Existing Image to the Patient Chart You can add an image to the patient chart. Add a Web Camera Image to the Patient Chart You can add a web camera image to the patient chart. Scan an Image to Add to the Patient Chart You can scan an image to add it to the patient chart. Save an Image to an Encounter You can save an image to the patinet chart or encounter. Open an Image from the Patient Chart You can open an image in the Encounter History or Categories tab. Add Imaging Component Toolbars to the Image Module Window

Open the Imaging module. Right-click the displayed image, or from the Main menu select one of the following: Imaging Components ToolBars > Current Toolbars Imaging Components ToolBars > My Preferred Toolbars. The Imaging Component ToolBar Selection window opens. Imaging Component ToolBar Selection To list the practice toolbars, select the Practice ToolBars check box. To list your personal Imaging Component toolbars, select the My ToolBars check box. Select the check boxes for the Imaging Component toolbars you want to display in the Image module. Select OK. The selected Imaging Component toolbars display in the Imaging module. Images Pane

The Images pane displays the list of patient charts images and image files. You can associate multiples images to a finding from the IMAGES pane. The IMAGES menu pane displays images in the Show Findings Menu if the Show Findings Images is selected. To turn the Show Findings Images on or off select the Show Findings Images from the Options and Settings Popup Menu . The Extra menu icon in the IMAGES pane enables you to view, hide, refresh and cancel the images. The Extra menu icon enables you to perform the following: To open the pop-up window, select Settings. The settings contain the list of patient charts images and image files. Select the images to display in the IMAGES pane. To hide images displayed on the GET component, select Hide. To move the deleted image to the IMAGES pane, select Refresh. To close the pop-up menu, select Cancel. Edit an Imaging Component Toolbar

Access the Imaging module. Right-click the displayed image, or from the Main menu select one of the following: Imaging Components ToolBars > Current Toolbars Imaging Components ToolBars > My Preferred Toolbars The Imaging Component ToolBar Selection window opens. Imaging Component ToolBar Selection To display the Imaging Component toolbars shared by your practice, select the Practice ToolBars check box. To display your personal Imaging Component toolbars in the list, select the My ToolBars check box. Select the Imaging Component toolbar to edit. Do one of the following: Right-click the toolbar, and then select Open. Select the Open button from the menu. The Imaging Component ToolBar Builder window opens. Imaging Component ToolBar Builder Enter changes as needed to the following: Edit the name of the Imaging Component toolbar. Add or edit toolbar notes. Add or delete imaging components. Create an Imaging Component Toolbar

You can create an Imaging Component toolbar for easier access to imaging components. Access the Imaging module. Right-click the displayed image, or from the Main menu select one of the following: Imaging Components ToolBars > Current Toolbars Imaging Components ToolBars > My Preferred Toolbars The Imaging Component ToolBar Selection window opens. Imaging Component ToolBar Selection Do one of the following: In the window, right-click, and then select New. Select the Open Menu button, and then select New. The Imaging Component ToolBar Builder window opens. Note: Use the Imaging Component ToolBar Builder window to import new or edit existing imaging components, and to add, edit, or delete imaging component sets. Imaging Component ToolBar Builder Enter a name for the Imaging Component toolbar. If necessary, add a description or additional information for the toolbar in the Note field. Select or clear any combination of the following check boxes to display the imaging components in the Imag
