Enterprise Preferences for Population Health Sync
Note: In Enterprise Preferences, you can set up both Population Health Sync and Clinical Quality Reporting, but you can select only one of these reporting features at a time to view in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The settings are retained if you switch from one reporting option to the other. To configure Enterprise Preferences for Population Health Sync reporting, you must initially enter global system settings that apply across enterprises and then enter credential settings for each participating practice in your enterprise. Accessing Population Health Sync from NextGen® Enterprise EHR
If your enterprise is enrolled in Population Health Sync, you can access data from it directly within NextGen® Enterprise EHR as well as from the NextGen® Population Health and Analytics Solutions (formerly EagleDream Health) website. Population Health Sync extracts patient data for analysis from NextGen® Enterprise EHR every 48 hours by default. An internal Application Program Interface (API) passes the analytical data from Population Health Sync to NextGen® Enterprise EHR for display. This data is displayed in the Insights Viewer window. Population Health Sync works at the enterprise level. The same data for a patient is provided to all practices within your enterprise that are configured for Population Health Sync reporting. Set Up Universal Preferences for NextGen Population Health Single Sign-On
You can set up the Universal Preferences for NextGen Population Health Single Sign-On so that the users can access NextGen Populaton Health website from NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open System Administrator. Select View > Universal Preferences. The NextGen Preferences window opens. From the left pane, select Population Health. The list of preferences appear on the right pane. In the Certificate Path field, select the path where the security certificate for PHS Single Sign-On is stored. In the NextGen Population Health Production URL field, enter the NextGen Population Health URL. In the PHS Gateway field, enter the lambda name which is used to communicate details between NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen Population Health. In the Tenant field, enter the tenant name. You can select the security certificate path for NextGen Population Health (PHS) Single Sign-On and set the tenant name for a Practice in File Maintenance to enable NextGen Population Health Single Sign-On in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Note: If you select the security certificate path and set the tenant name in the Practice Preferences window, the values are considered over the value set in the Enterprise Preferences window in File Maintenance and Universal Preferences window in System Administrator. Open File Maintenance. Select Master Files > System. The Master Files - System window opens. Select Practices. The Practices List window opens. Double-click the required Practice.
