window opens.
Select the applicable options.
Note:
The
Hide Pediatric Sig Favorites on Adult Patients
check box is selected by default at upgrade or install.

Set Up Medication Search Default Filter Options
Open the Medication Search window. From the View menu, select Default Filter Options. The Medication Search - Default Filter Options window opens. Medication Search - Default Filter Options window Do the following as applicable: To view the brand name of the medications, select Brand. To view the generic name of the medications, select Generic. To view a list of medications appropriate to a particular diagnosis, select Patient Problems. To view the selected health plan of the patient, select Payer. To view all medications available in the database, select All Medications. To view your favorite medications, select Favorite Medications and then select your favorite from the list. Select Apply. Set Up Default Medication Search Favorites List
You can set up a medication favorites list as the default. The default medications favorites list displays when you access the Medication Search window to prescribe a new medication. Open the Medication Search window. Medication Search window Select the favorites list to make your default. Right-click the tab or tab display pane and select Make Group Default from the list. Medication Search Favorites
The Medication Search window enables you to set up user-defined lists of favorite medications, and set up specific defaults for the medications saved as your favorites. Use a favorites list to prescribe medications faster by selecting the required medication from your list and bypassing the search process. Note: The Medication Search Favorites List is displayed based on the provider selected in the toolbar or the Medications module.
