Open Billing ICD List

The Billing ICD List tab of the Problems module displays the details of the billing ICD codes of a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History or create an encounter. To open the Problems module, select Problems on the Quick Buttons panel.The Problems module opens displaying the Problem List tab by default. To open the billing ICD list, select the Billing ICD List tab. Billing ICD List Billing ICD List The billing ICD list displays all the resolved and unresolved billing ICD entries of a patient. Add an ICD to the ICD Billing List You can add an entry to the Billing ICD List using the add ICD feature. Modify an ICD in the ICD Billing List Modify the entries in the Billing ICD List to update the information displayed in the Billing ICD List Display Area. Manage Billing ICD List Entries

You can mark a Billing ICD entry as chronic, see who last modified the entry, resolve a problem, or delete an entry. Open Billing ICD List. In the Billing ICD List Data display area, right-click a Billing ICD entry. A menu of functions and features opens. Billing ICD List To mark a Billing ICD entry as chronic, right-click the Billing ICD entry and select Set Chronic. The Set Chronic button is only active if the selected Billing ICD entry has not been set as chronic. Setting a problem as chronic in the Billing ICD List does not set that same problem to Chronic in the Problem List. To see who last modified the entry and when, select Who/When. The application displays the Modification Information window. Modification Information To refresh the changes for the Billing ICD entry, select Refresh. To add a problem, select Add Problem. To mark a problem as Resolved, select Resolve. To create a copy of an existing ICD Code, right-click the code and select Recur. To delete a problem, select Del

Set Up Billing ICD List Preferences

Open Billing ICD List. In the billing ICD List toolbar, select Preferences. Set Columns to Display A list of settings for the billing ICD list columns appear. To determine which columns appear in the billing ICD list, and the order in which they appear, select Set Columns to Display. View Preferences To display a column, in the View Preferences window, select a column type in Available Columns and select Add to move it to Display these fields in this order. Column types listed in the Available Columns pane do not appear in the display area. The selected column name moves to the Display these fields in this order section. To hide a column, select a column type in Display these fields in this order and select Remove. The selected column name moves to the Available Columns section. Columns listed in the Available Columns section do not appear in the billing ICD list. To set the display order of columns in Display these fields in this order, select Move Up or Move Down. Billing ICD List Toolbar

The billing ICD list toolbar is located below the Problem List and Billing ICD List tabs. The Billing ICD List toolbar provides the following features and functions: Button Description Refresh Updates information that has been entered and accepted in the Billing ICD List tab. Preferences Enables you to choose which columns are displayed. Deleted Items Opens the Deleted Items window which lists all the deleted billing ICD entries. Add an ICD to the ICD Billing List

The Add ICD option enables you to add a ICD code to the billing ICD list. Open Billing ICD List. On the Billing ICD List tab, select the Add ICD button. The Add Billing ICD window opens.
