Selecting Report Columns

You typically select the patient demographic columns along with the report data columns after you have specified report data and before generating a report. For example, if you want to generate a Diagnosis report, you would first set Diagnosis filters; and then, select the columns. You would select the columns and filter the patient demographic fields, if necessary.

Depending on the type of report you need to generate you can select patient demographic columns along with the report data columns. In some cases, the patient demographic columns could be selected before you select report data.

For example, if you know you do not want to include information about deceased patients on the report, you could deselect that column before specifying report data.

The selecting and sorting report columns options provide greater flexibility and the ability to easily customize each report to display the appropriate report data and patient information.
