Open the Clinical Reconciliation Module

You can Open the Clinical Reconciliation module from the Medication Allergies module.In the Clinical Reconciliation module, you can reconcile a patient's medications and medication allergies, create a reconciliation summary, and view a patient's reconciliation history. Open the Medication Allergies module. Select Reconcile. The Clinical Reconciliation module opens. Open the Full Reconciliation Module

You can use the full Clinical Reconciliation module rather than the one-click reconciliation feature for any of the following tasks: See the full set of data columns for each clinical item, rather than just the most commonly useful columns. Reconcile items from multiple Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) documents simultaneously. Reconcile resolved medications, allergies, or problems, not just the currently active items. Replace or delete any previously imported items. View reconciliation history. Problem List Data Entry Area Toolbar

The problem list data entry area toolbar is located at the top of the data entry area and below the data display area. The data entry area toolbar buttons enable you to perform functions related to a patient's problems such as add, recode, and modify the problems. Re-Code a Patient Problem in the Problem List Resolve an Active Problem Set a selected active problem to the resolved state and provide details such as the Resolved Date, Resolved By, and Resolved Reason. Mark a Problem as Chronic Mark recurring or long-standing problems as chronic. Mark a Problem as Comorbid Mark co-occuring problems as comorbid. Launch Reconciliation from NextGen® Enterprise EHR

Before you begin To perform a clinical reconciliation from NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you must first import a patient's Continuity of Care Document (CCD) or Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA), or have completed a patient medication history request. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. To reconcile all clinical data for a patient (referred to as All mode), select Clinical Reconciliation from the View menu. Note: You can also access the Clinical Reconciliation module in All mode from the Medication Review pop up template, a customized Medical Records or Demographics template or pop up. For more information on templates, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Templates User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR. To reconcile specific clinical data, such as medications or problems or results (referred to as Module mode), select the appropriate module and then select the Reconcile button. Clinical Reconciliation Module

The Clinical Reconciliation module enables you to review the data in imported messages and documents. You can select clinical data items for inclusion in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR database. Clinical Reconciliation The Clinical Reconciliation module enables you to review a patient's existing clinical data and data from an imported Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) document, patient medication history file, or HL7 immunization registry message. Configure Permissions for Reconciliation

The one-click reconciliation feature is governed by the same permissions as the Clinical Reconciliation Module. These permissions are found in the Discrete Data Import subgroup of the Modules permissions group in the System Administrator. Under Discrete Data Import, the various categories of importable clinical data are listed, such as Allergies, Diagnoses, Family History, and so on. For each category, enable or disable rights for the user to View or Add items in that category. The Update, Delete, and Print rights have no impact on one-click reconciliation.
