Configure Enterprise Preferences for HQM Clinical Quality Reporting
To configure Enterprise Preferences for HQM Clinical Quality Reporting, you must enter the HQM API Authentication Key for access to the HQM-to-EHR reporting interface. The HQM API URL (Internet address) is also required but is prefilled. You can make reporting available to all or only certain practices in the enterprise. Set group operations rights in System Administrator to control user access to HQM Clinical Quality reports. Note: In Enterprise Preferences, you can set up both Population Health Sync and Clinical Quality Reporting, but you can select only one of these reporting features at a time to view in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The settings are retained if you switch from one reporting option to the other. Access to HQM Clinical Quality Reports from NextGen® Enterprise EHR
Health Quality Measures (HQM) Clinical Quality reports (CQRs) are available directly within NextGen® Enterprise EHR as well as from the HQM Portal website. HQM-enrolled providers or their delegates and other authorized users can view the reports at the patient or provider level without selecting an encounter. HQM collects information for predefined reporting programs as configured within the client’s HQM portal. An internal HQM Application Program Interface (API) passes the report information to NextGen® Enterprise for display. Import Clinical Quality Reporting Permissions from Another Group
You can import Clinical Quality Reporting permissions for Administrator View and View Clinical Quality Reporting from another group. The imported permissions overwrite the current permissions. In the NextGen System Administrator window, expand the enterprise and practice, and select the practice user group to import the permissions to. Select Rights. Expand OPERATIONS to display the permissions groups. Select Clinical Quality Reporting. Select Import Permissions. Select Group window opens, listing practices in the enterprise. If you do not want to continue, select Exit. To continue, expand the practice for the group to import permissions from, and select the group. Then select Add. A message appears, warning that the current permissions are overwritten. Do one of the following: To import the permissions, select Yes. Export Clinical Quality Report Permissions to Multiple Groups
You can export Clinical Quality Reporting permissions to copy them from one user group to other user groups. You can export only the Administrator View or View Clinical Quality Reporting permission or both permissions. Note: Subsequent changes to the source user group rights do not carry over to the other groups unless you perform another export. In the NextGen System Administrator window, expand the enterprise and practice, and select the practice user group to export the permissions from. Select Rights. Expand OPERATIONS to display the permissions groups. Expand Clinical Quality Reporting. Do one of the following: To export only one permission, select Administrator View or View Clinical Quality Reporting, and then select Export Single Permission. To export both permissions, select Clinical Quality Reporting, and then select Export Permissions. The Find Groups window opens. To search for a group, do one of the following: Enter the first few letters of the group name in the Group Name
