Performing Entity Locations

You can set up multiple locations for a single performing entity. You are not required to set up multiple locations for a performing entity; however, if your practice has multiple locations, by setting up this master file, users can easily select the preferred location when working with orders. For example, if your practice has three Quest lab locations in its area, set up faxing for those locations with different fax details so that the order is sent to the appropriate location. You can set up In-House Performing Entity by which the laboratory and diagnostic order items mapped to this entity, are displayed in the list of Common Orders in NextGen® Enterprise EHR Computerized Physician Order Entry. You can set up In-House Performing Entity by which the laboratory and diagnostic order items mapped to this entity, are displayed in the list of Common Orders in NextGen® Enterprise Computerized Physician Order Entry.
