PAQ Setup

The PAQ in the Workflow module enables you an easy sign-off capability for documents, images, notes, NextGen® Document Management images, orders, SAP® Crystal Reports®, and HIE documents. You need to use the latest version of SAP Crystal Reports. You must enter user name and password to access the PAQ Workflow module. You can select one of the available items to review, accept, reject, or create a new task associated with the item. The PAQ is an optional feature, available in System Administrator. If your practice does not enable the PAQ to use, the functionality for existing Workflow module remains same. If you enable the PAQ, the Top toolbar within NextGen® Enterprise EHR displays an additional PAQ icon . Select to enable the PAQ access and complete the setup for all applicable users. To set up rights and permissions for the Workflow module and the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) tab, you must enable the PAQ in System Administrator and set the user Operations rights. Set Up Operation Rights for Generating Reports

You can configure which user groups can generate NextGen® Document Management reports from NextGen® Document Management and NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open System Administrator. Select a user group, and then select the Rights tab. In Master Files, select System, PM, or Document Management, and then select Practices. The Practices List window opens. In the Practices list, double-click a practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. In Preferences List, select Imaging. Expand OPERATIONS, and then expand Reports. Select Doc Mgmt, and then in the Access Rights section, select Yes. Setup Access Rights for Group Scheduling

To work with patient groups, group appointments, and group encounters in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR, users must have security access rights in System Administrator. Access System Administrator. The NextGen System Administrator window opens. On the left, select to expand an enterprise and then a practice. Select a user group within the practice. Select the Rights tab. To enable users to add or modify Patient Groups in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR, do the following: Select to expand Operations, and then select Patient Group. In the Access Rights section, select Yes. To enable users to schedule Group Appointments in NextGen® Enterprise PM, do the following: Select to expand Modules, then expand Scheduling, and then select Appointments.
