The Results panel is collapsed when you open the
Orders Summary
tab.
To expand the
Results
panel, select the down arrow.
The panel opens to the test currentlyselected in the
Orders Summary
tab.
To collapse the

New Results Entry Tab
The New Results Entry tab provides the following toolbar options. Option Description New Result When selected, creates a new result to associate with the selected order. Refresh Refreshes the results list. Clear Clears the results list. Delete Deletes a selected result. Save Saves the new result created here. Showing Compressed Results Function
If the Show Compressed Results option is selected, only the most recent results for each test are displayed for the same collection date and time. If a collection date and time is not available, the system uses the order creation date and time. For example, if a lab sends a message with one test with several results and a second message for the same test with only one result, only one test and one result appear When Show Compressed Results is not selected, all results for an order appear. Customize the Header in the Results Panel
You can select specific patient, order, and practice information to view in the results header. For example, you may want to display an order's test location and the phone number for the practice. From the Results panel toolbar, select Print > Print Options. The Print/Results Options window opens. Select the Header Options tab. Select the check box for each option to view in the Patient Information, Order Information, and Practice Information sections. To preview the selected header options, select Preview. Grid Results Tab
The Grid Results tab has two sections: Reported panels and Reported results. The following toolbar selections are available. Option Description Reported panels: includes the status, collection date and any related comments. Refresh Refreshes the display of test results. Delete Panel Deletes the selected results panel. Reported results for: includes the result, unit, any flags, range, observation date and any related comments. Delete Result Deletes the result for a selected test. Open the Order and Result Details in the Orders Summary Tab
From the Results tab, you can select a test order result and automatically open that order and the result details on the Orders Summary tab. On the Results tab, select the result value in a Collection Date & Time column, and then select Go to Order on the Results tab Top toolbar. The Orders Summary tab opens. The associated order is selected in the grid, and the Results panel is expanded to show the result details. Parent topic: Review Test Results

Display New Results Entries in the Results Panel
On the Orders Summary tab, select a completed test. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select the New Results Entry tab. The results appear with the patient detail at the bottom of the Results panel. To print these details, select Print Results on the toolbar. Note: If you are creating a new results entryfor an ordermanually, there is a 60-character limit on the Component description field. If you exceed this limit, the extra characters are truncated.
