Before you begin
Ensure that you do the required configuration for each external application that can be launched from
NextGen® Enterprise EHR or
NextGen® Enterprise PM. Without required user privilege, the
External Applications
icon does not appear on Patient Information Card (PIC). For more information, go to
NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest
System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise.
NextGen® Enterprise EHR allows you to launch external applications from third-party vendors using the
External Applications
icon on the Patient Information Card.
Note: You can access only the applications that are licensed and configured for use in your practice.
