Manually Create Content Exclusions

  1. In the Data Share pane, select Open the Data Share Settings Slider Open the Data Share Settings Slider, then select Configure Content Exclusion List.
    The DSM Exclusion window opens.

  2. Select an external system.
    The content exclusions apply only to exports to the selected external system.
  3. Select a tab for one of the categories of clinical data: Medications, Diagnoses, Problems, or Procedures.
    A message appears if you do not have permission to configure the selected type of clinical data, The needed permission can be configured in System Administrator.
  4. In Enter code/description to search, enter one of the following types of values:
    • For medications, use a full or partial NDC number, brand name, or generic name.
    • For diagnoses, use a full or partial ICD-9 or ICD-10 code or description.
    • For problems, use a full or partial SNOMED-CT® code or description.
    • For procedures, use a full or partial CPT®-4 code or description.
  5. Select Find.
  6. Select one or more items from the list of results, and then select Add selected.
    Your selections appear in the upper pane.
  7. To remove an exclusion, select it in the upper pane, and then select Remove selected.
  8. To save your selections, select Apply or Ok.
    A message appears, warning you that changes will not take effect until you restart the Rosetta services.
  9. To continue, select OK.
  10. Restart the Rosetta service for the changes to take effect.
