Import CardioPerfect® Tests

If a test report exists in CardioPerfect® but not in IEM, then you can import the report into IEM as follows: Open the Integrated Equipment Module From the Acquire Report list, select the pertinent Welch Allyn record.The CardioPerfect Workstation application starts. Cancel the recording. Select the test you want to import from the lower left pane, and if needed, confirm it.If the test does not exist in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, it will be imported into the selected encounter and listed in the IEM grid with the original date of the report. Import Tests from Welch Allyn®

If a test exists in the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® application but not in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can import it to the IEM. This scenario can occur if: The provider is using a Welch Allyn® application before its integration with NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The network is down and the test was recorded locally. Welch Allyn® equipment can send test results to a Welch Allyn® application but not NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Create Welch Allyn® Resting ECG Reports

Before you begin Before you start recording, ensure that the device is connected to the PC. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Open the Integrated Equipment Module. From the Acquire Report list, select Welch Allyn ECG.The Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® Workstation application starts and opens the ECG capture screen. Capture an ECG as described in the appropriate Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® resting ECG user manual. Close the Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® application to return to the IEM.A new Welch Allyn Resting ECG report appears in the IEM grid and an (Equipment Report) indicator appears in the History toolbar under the encounter. User Rights for Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™

Before you begin Before performing this task, you must have installed the Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ devices. Perform the following steps to create the ngwa user so the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ can communicate with NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the Windows Start menu, run Welch Allyn Diagnostic Cardiology Suite. Log in using the username admin and the password admin. In the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ , select the System Configuration (System Configuration) icon.The Welch Allyn Diagnostic Cardiology Suite - System Configuration window appears. Select Users Database.The Users Database pane opens. Select New.The New User pane opens. In Username and Display Name, enter ngwa. In Password and Repeat Password, enter waint. View Welch Allyn® Reports

Access the Integrated Equipment Module. Select a Welch Allyn ECG, Welch Allyn Exercise ECG, or Welch Allyn Spirometry report from the IEM grid. Note: Welch Allyn® Exercise ECG reports are supported only by CardioPerfect® and not by the Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ . Select View Report. The Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® Workstation application starts and displays the report. Report Displayed in Diagnostic Cardiology Suite Use the tabs to view additional information as needed. Create GE Resting ECG Reports

Before you start recording, ensure that the equipment is connected to the PC. For more information on how to use GE CardioSoft, refer to the GE CardioSoft Operator's Manual. Prepare the patient for the test as needed. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Access the IEM. Select Acquire Report and select GE CardioSoft Resting ECG. The GE CardioSoft application starts and displays the Test Information window. Before the test starts, configure and select the appropriate settings as needed. On the Test Information window: For each tab, enter or verify all relevant information. Then select OK. If you are performing a: 10-second ECG with analysis, select the ECG Acquisition button. Full disclosure ECG, select the Start Full Disclosure ECG button. Select the Stop FD/Post Test Review button to stop the test and display the Test Summary window.
