Select Medication Statuses to Display in the Medications List

You can select which medication status groups to display in the Medications List. All medications with the same status are listed together under that status in the Medications List. For example, all active medications will be listed under the Active grouping. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open Medications module. Select Grid Preferences. Select View, and then select one or more of the following statuses: Active, Inactive, Pending, and Deleted Parent topic: Medications List

Set Up Medications List Preferences

Select Grid Preferences > Set Columns to Display. The Medication View Preferences window opens. Medication View Preferences From the Available Columns list, select the columns you want to view and then select Add. Select the columns in the Medication View Preferences To change the order of a displayed column, select that column and then select Move Up or Move Down as applicable. Select OK. Medications List Columns

You can select the columns you want to view in the Medications List. Right-click the header row of the Medications List, or select Grid Preferences. Select View > <Column Name>. View, Column name You can select any combination of the available columns. If necessary, re-order the columns by selecting and dragging each column to the desired position. Group Medications by Columns in the Medications List

Right-click the header row of a column you wish to group the medications by, or select Grid Preferences. Select Group By & Sort Same Column. Group By & Sort Same Column All of the medications displayed in the Medication List are grouped by the selected column. Note: If you have the Group & Sort Same Column option selected, you can re-group medications by selecting the desired column header. In case the Group & Sort Same Column option is not selected, selecting the column header only sorts the medications based on the existing grouping. Regroup medications in column header If necessary, you can ungroup the medications by right-clicking and selecting UnGroup option. Right-click and select Regroup option to regroup the medications. Reset Display of Medications List Columns

You can reset the display of Medications List columns to the default view. Right-click the header row of the Medications List, or select Grid Preferences. Select Reset Columns. Reset Columns Parent topic: Medications List

Expanding/Collapsing Medications List

You can expand or collapse each of the four displayed groups of medications (Active, Inactive, Pending, or Temporary) by selecting the corresponding Expand or Collapse button. Expand or Collapse Medications List You can select whether each group is expanded or collapsed by default.
