For each practice in your enterprise that should have access to Population Health Sync reporting, you must enter the API Authentication Key and the Secret Key in Enterprise Preferences. The API Authentication Key is a specific digital code that authenticates access to the interface that provides Population Health Sync reporting information to
NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The Secret Key is a client-specific key generated by Population Health Sync for authentication with the Population Health Sync API. The API Authentication Key and the Secret Key are the same for all practices in an enterprise.
The credential settings are retained and appear the next time you access the Population Health Settings. The keys can be removed later if a practice should no longer participate in Population Health Sync.
